Gloucester 20 Mile Road Race – 19th March 2017

Tim Carter gave a great performance in the Gloucester 20 mile road race, which must give him confidence for his upcoming London Marathon. He was neck and neck with the eventual winner to 15 miles and just dropped off the pace a little to finish a clear 2nd in 1:56:53.

Bourton’s Tim Carter earned an impressive 2nd place at the Gloucester 20 mile road race.


Chris Lomax had a superb run to record 2:56:53, with Chris Dry under 2 minutes behind in 2:58:29. Tony Goodwill ran with his son and breezed round in 3:04:54.

Graham Lane, Dave Turnbull, Linda Edwards and David Rees all had strong runs in windy conditions with respective times of 3:07:00, 3:07:21 and 3:19:29 for Linda & David running together.
