Report Highlights

Pittville Park XC and Castle Coombe Chilly 10k.

Linda Franks 5m starts the County 2020 Road Race Series, with Darren Long bringing home a team of 14 BRR members. Plenty of PBs too.

2019 highlights include:

Darren Long PBs at Málaga Half Marathon.

Margaret Hollamby LV65/1 at Coome Park 10k and Steph Holton LV55/1 at Eynsham 10k.

Darren Long, Susan Hunt and Liz Hulcup secure County Road Race series gold at Tewkesbury Guy Fawkes 5.

In-form Niamh Shoemark ran Stroud Half in a new PB of 1:31:51, and also won her age category.

Martin Cook conquers Snowdonia Marathon.

Darren Long represented England in Marathon Masters. Dee twins 1st and 4th at Junior Great South Run for 2nd year.

Club trip to Sofia, Bulgaria a success.

Linda Edwards PBs at Berlin Marathon.

Darren Long excels at London Duathlon, in Richmond Park.

Diana Dee 1st lady at Cotswold Trail 10k.

Liz Hulcup 1st LV65 at Pershore Plum Plodders 10k.

Another busy period for Bourton - Alchester 5k, Bugatti 10k and Hooky 6.

Bourton runners pickup valuable County points plus County medals at Haresfield 5k.

Darren Long is 3rd at Immortal Farmoor 10k and 1st MV45 at Blaisdon 10k

Niahm Shoemark was 2nd lady and 1st LV45 at Hornton 6, with Margaret Hollamby 1st LV65; well done to both.

Darren Long was 8th at Cirencester Park 10k, while Martin Cook was 10th at Kingham 10k.

6 Bourton Roadrunners venture to Liverpool for the marathon and half marathon.

6 Bourton Roadrunners race Angels 10k, while others take on the Standard Distance British Duathlon Age Group Championships, Manchester 10k and Highworth 5.

Daniel Studley sets a new course record at Bourton 10k among a record number of finishers. 6 Bourton Roadrunners among them.

Bourton’s ladies see-off the men at Ilmongton 10k.
