Santa v Rudolph Run - 5th December 2021
This was run, walk or jog ‘race’, covering 3k, 5k and 10k, was held in Lydiard Park, Swindon. Brighter Futures joined forces with Swindon Phoenix Rotary Club, with all profits raised being shared between Brighter Futures, a registered charity of Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Bourton Roadrunners endurance star, Neil Russell was the celebrity starter of the race and then joined his wife Nicky, their dog Oscar and BRR club mates Annie, Janice, Gillian, Lynn, Allie, Shirl and Claire. They ran the 10k course and all finished in 71:06.
Santa and Elf Dash - 5th December 2021
This charity fund-raising event started from Roald Dahl Plass, Cardiff Bay. Jaq Underwood (2nd –claim member) completed the 5k course in 26:30.
The Worcester Ring Run - 5th December 2021
Susan Hunt (2nd –claim member) took-on the Worcester Ring Run, which started and finished at Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre, covering a scenic route of Worcester and Droitwich. Susan completed the 22 mile race in 3:50:20, and said that she was fuelled by peanut butter sandwiches.

Cirencester: Liz Hulcup – 27:25.
Stratford-upon-Avon: Susan Hunt (2nd –claim member) – 26:35
Highlights
A group of 9 members + a family dog enjoyed the Santa v Rudolph Run, in support of Brighter Futures and Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
In-form Jaq Underwood ran the Santa and Elf Dash 5k at Cardiff Bay.
Susan Hunt took-on the 22m Worcester Ring Run.
