Windrush Way - 21st July 2024
Last week, Basia Legierska and Derek Darby ran together covering the Windrush Way, a distance of 20.8Km, with 373 metres of vertical gain. Basia said that Derek was there providing valuable when she needed it most, encouraging her on as she tired.
Basia later discovered that her time of 2 hours, 28 minutes and 1 second is recorded as the fastest known time for a woman (13 minutes and 15 seconds faster than the previous record).
