Bath Half Marathon - 16th March 2025
Bourton Roadrunners’ Linda Edwards joined a field of 11,000 runners of all abilities at this year’s Bath Half Marathon, with club runners taking part alongside a strong field of elite athletes seeking qualification for the World Athletics Road Running Championships.
Linda completed the 13.1 mile course in a time of two hours, seven minutes and 58 seconds.
Draycote Water 10k - 15th March 2025
The day before, Bourton’s Annie took part in the Draycote Water 10k, part of the Draycote Water Running Festival, featuring 5k, 10k and half marathon options. Despite the stunning reservoir setting, the undulations provided an added challenge.
However, Annie was pleased to have met 72 year-old Rupert, a Parkinson's sufferer, during the run and he paced her around the course in a time of 71 minutes and 46 seconds.
Parkrun - 15th March 2025
No weekend would be complete without parkrun, and Bourton Roadrunners were out supporting events at the following venues:
