Bourton Roadrunners' Club Competitions
Each year members compete in the club's 6-from-10 series, with points being awarded for their best 6 finishes versus fellow club members. 10 races are nominated covering a variety of distances and spread across the year. The races selected for the 2017 competition are available to study and plan for. With effect from the 2008 competition each person can only qualify for the Senior Category and their own Age Category, to open it up more to everyone.
The final results of the 2015 competition are still available to download.
The club also runs an age-related rankings competition, using the results of your best three distances, with points being allocated for each recognised distance, based on world record standards, calibrated for each age category. Inspect the rules and see a worked example. To ensure that your results are recorded please let Gill Carrick, at , have a copy of the official results or a hyper-link to the race's web-site.
The results for the 2017 competition (as at 3rd September) are available to download.
The final results for the 2016 competition are still available to download.
Please note that if you are a Bourton club member and take part in a club organised race, such as the Bourton 10k or the Hilly Half, you are required to supply a marshal for the event who is not themselves a club member.
The club actively supports and participates in the Gloucestershire AAA competitions, including the County Road Series. The final results for the 2013 County Series for Men, Ladies and the Teams are available to download.
