Gloucestershire AAA County Awards Evening - 20th January 2023
At the recent Gloucestershire AAA annual awards evening four Bourton Roadrunners received their County Medals for the 2022 Road Race Series. Liz Hulcup received Gold having won the Ladies’ Veteran 65 category.
A Silver medal was won by Darren Long, who was second in the Men’s Veteran 45 category.
Bronze medals were awarded to Gillian Carrick and Maxine Emes. Gillian was thrid in the Ladies’ Veteran 60 category while Bourton’s multi-discipline athlete, Maxine, was third in the highly competitive Ladies’ veteran 40 category.

Parkrun - 28th January 2023
Bourton Roadrunners was present at a number parkrun events this weekend, including the following locations:
Chipping Norton: Rob Williams – 29:59, Allie Quinn – 32:07.
Hastings: Claire Carroll – 25:23 (LV60/1).
Millhouses, Sheffield: Val McKay – 34:31.
Wotton: Steph Holton – 27:12 (LV55/1), Gary Holton – 28:58 (MV60/2), Susan Hunt – 30:20 (LV55/2), Linda Edwards – 31:41.
Navan, Ireland: Niamh Shoemark – 21:30 (1st lady overall).
