Westonbirt House Good Friday 10k - 7th April 2023
Bourton Roadrunners’ Darren Long and Maxine Emes ran at the Westonbirt House Good Friday 10k, held within the estate’s grounds, with over 350 finishers. Darren finished 10th overall in a time of 38:38 and 3rd in the MV50 category, which proved to be very competitive with only 28 seconds separating the top-three. Meanwhile, Maxine finished 2nd LV40 in a brilliant time of 46:33.

Club stalwarts joined many other runners, joggers and walkers at various parkrun events on Saturday, including:
Chipping Norton: Jenny Evanson – 36:24 (LV55/2).
Penrhyn Castle, Wales: Barry O’Leary – 25:44.
Ross-on-Wye: Tom Knight – 28:18.
Stratford-upon-Avon: Susan Hunt – 24:05.
Wolford Woods: Theo Birch – 26:32 (2nd JM15-17), and returning from injury was Louise Hamilton-Smith – 53:11.
Highlights

Barry runs Penrhyn Castle parkrun, while on holiday in Wales. Tom Knight returns to parkrun, following injury, at Ross-on-Wye.
