Chipping Norton parkrun Social - 11th February 2023
Like most athletics and running clubs, Bourton Roadrunners has evolved to reflect the needs of its members. This has included strengthening its focus on the social side of club within its training activities and support for the wider community. This has led naturally to including parkrun events within its competitions, drawing engagement from across the full range of runners’ abilities. This week, with points “up for grabs” 29 members, covering all age groups, took part at the Chipping Norton School parkrun, followed afterwards by hot drinks and cakes at the “The Carpark Café” (i.e. out of the boot of a car).
