Parkrun - 3rd May 2025

With just a week since the London, Manchester and Stratford-Upon-Avon marathons, Bourton Roadrunners Club did not go searching for further races this week. Rather, the participants and their supporters settled for visiting a few parkrun events near and far, ahead of this week’s Bourton Mile on Friday evening, including the following venues:

Bolberry Down, Salcombe: Giles Canning - 27:05 (VM65/2 and course PB).
Cheltenham Pittville Park: John Harding - 25:48.
Chipping Norton School: Lee Hutton - 25:26 (VM65/2), Susan Hunt - 28:47 (VW60/2).
Clapham Common, London: Eva Shoemark - 30:56.
Grove Fields, Wantage: Liz Hulcup - 26:56 (VW70/1), Louise Hamilton-Smith - 63:32.
King George V Playing Field, Cheltenham: Chris Dry - 29:42.
Vingis, Lithuania: Kate Price - 51:09.
Witney: Pippa Krzywiec - 24:16 (JW11/2).

Lauch of new C25K Course - 13th May 2025

Bourton Roadrunners Club are also proud to announce the date for their next Couch to 5K course. Commencing 13th May, this 9-week activity, with friendly support and encouragement from qualified session leaders and club members, is suitable for absolute beginners of all ages, and is based on the NHS programme.
