Chester Marathon - 7 October
Perfect weather conditions and a lovely rural undulating marathon course helped the Bourton trio to a good set of results today. Steve Edwards ran his 2nd best time of the year in 3:06 and now only needs 4 sub-3:30s to reach the 500 landmark.
Next home was Tony Goodwill who ran very well to record 3:12 and finish 4th V55, however the day belonged to Claire Harrison as she smashed her marathon PB by running 3:19, only 4 minutes outside the London Marathon elite qualifying standard; an excellent performance.
